Hmm.. "Google Tunes"!! I cant wait to see my most favorite two companies compete! :o)

I wonder what Google is up to and how Apple will respond? But can Google threaten Apple? After all, Apple is the first to provide such a user and industry friendly service. Google would have to come up with a service/technology that will do much, much more than just search and download MP3s or video files to get a competitive edge in the market. They did launch their Google Video store recently, it's actually still BETA. It searches through the script and files of movies to find a specified word. Not sure that's going to get them up to par with iTunes. Hmm... let's wait and see. Maybe we'll see an increase in serenades then... :oppp
The Screen Actors' Guild awards were last night. The winners arent really suprising, though the losers are. Brokeback Mountain ended up leaving without collecting anything except for disappointment. Especially after the winning streak they were on at the Golden Globes! The best actor once more was Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Capote. I still havent seen that movie and I need to. I actually havent even seen Brokeback Mountain or Walk The Line, either. I don't know I dont like Joaquin Phoenix, he appears too aggressive and unattractive, there's just this "trouble" look going with him. And after all, he did cause Maximus' death! :opp

I love GOOGLE!!! Have you tried the Google Desktop 2? It's very user friendly and very convenient to have around. I can just write up any notes or whatever on the Scratch Pad whenver I want to, without having to open up Word or something, so I dont forget what I wanted to post here.. These guys are brilliant...
It's my new favorite toy on my laptop...

Two weeks already gone! I cant believe how fast time is going by...
I had a great time away, though I didnt get any studying done, or maybe because of it. :o) Im going to be sorry about it in about 10 days when we have our finals. But that's all good. I'll think about that then.

But here's something that caught my attention today. You gotta love Turkey. This is a picture from an accident that was reported in one of the major newspapers today. A guy put his car in reverse rather than drive and ended up on a balcony with his car! :o)) These kinds of "rare" accidents without anybody getting hurt only happens in Turkey...
